MHI endorsed by Consumer Recommends New Zealand
Leading consumer advocacy Consumer NZ has recently recommended three of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Heat Pumps in their May 2019 review. Further cementing its place in the market, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries heat pumps fared exceptionally well across all three Heat Pump categories with recommendations across small, medium and large capacity units. For their May review, Consumer NZ analysed performance data from 252 heat pump systems, rating them for their heating and cooling efficiency, indoor and outdoor noise levels and their performance in low temperatures.
In the small and medium categories our Avanti PLUS® units were the true champions scoring recommendations across both categories. With an industry leading 7 star heating and cooling energy rating – the highest of any heat pump in New Zealand, the 2.0kW Avanti PLUS® model (SRK20ZSXA-W) performed well across all tested features to receive an overall rating of 84%- the highest rating in the small sized category. Designed for small to medium sized rooms, the stylish European design blends seamlessly into a variety of rooms and settings to create the ultimate comfort.
In the medium capacity category, the 5.0kW Avanti PLUS® (SRK50ZSXA-W) rated highly for its low indoor and outdoor noise levels and achieved an overall score of 81% to be recommended in the medium size category.
The Bronte® Series fared well against tough competition in the large capacity category. Designed specifically for medium to large spaces, Consumer NZ recommended the 6.3kW Bronte model (SRK63ZRA-W) which scored over 80% for its heating efficiency and outdoor noise level for an overall rating of 83%- the highest rating among the large capacity units.
