MHI Introduces New Akari Series of Bulkhead Systems

In a further example of its commitment to bringing reliable products to New Zealand consumers, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is pleased to introduce the launch of the Akari™ series of bulkhead systems.

The Akari™ series is available in 2.5kw and 3.5kW capacities and is a series of low-profile bulkhead systems that are designed to sit within your ceiling space and distribute air via discreet grilles. These compact units require no ducting and are perfect for renovated spaces and applications such as apartments where space is at a premium.  The Akari™ series features R32 refrigerant which aides its energy efficiency ratings and comes with convenient functions and features. As a reverse cycle system, the unit is perfect for year-round usage.

The Akari™ series, features a super quiet operation that offers users some of the quietest operation levels on the market achieving 24dB(A) on low fan mode. Along with this, users can also enable Silent Operation where they can set periods of time where the unit will operate with even further reduced noise levels.  With its High-Power Operation, users can experience 15 minutes of boosted power that will allow them to quickly heat or cool their space before returning to its normal operation.

The Akari™ series features a Self Clean Operation feature that aids in preventing the growth of mould on indoor component, helping the unit deliver clean and fresh air.
