Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation Introduces the Mitsubishi SpaceJet Family of Aircraft Today, Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation officially announced its Mitsubishi SpaceJet family of aircraft. SpaceJet is the commercial name for the product family that includes the SpaceJet M90 (previously known by the developmental designation of MRJ90) and a new member, the SpaceJet M100, a new standard in regional air travel. (MHI) based in Yokohama, held a christening ceremony today for a next-generation LNG (liquefied natural gas) carrier under construction for TRANS PACIFIC SHIPPING 5 LTD. MHI built rocket launched on mission to international space station After being delayed due to poor weather conditions caused by Typhoon Mangkhut, the HTV-7 freighter (also known as ‘Kounotori’ – meaning ‘white stork’ in Japanese) was successfully launched over the weekend. Built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries under contract to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, the H-2 Transfer Vehicle lifted off at 1752:27 GMT (1:52:27 p.m. EDT) Saturday. As its name suggests, HTV-7 is the seventh Kounotori mission. MHI to launch world’s largest offshore wind turbine by 2020

MHI to launch world’s largest offshore wind turbine by 2020 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is working on an offshore wind turbine with an output of 10MW, two megawatts more than the present record holder, according to a report in the Nikkei Asian Review. The Japanese engineer hopes to gain a larger share of the global offshore wind power market, which is expected to grow a 16% a year, expanding six times by 2030, thanks in large part to the growth of the nascent US industry. The turbine will be developed by MHI Vestas Offshore Wind, a joint venture between Mitsubishi Heavy and Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems. Mitsubishi hopes to bring its machine to market by 2020, ahead of rival projects being developed by General Electric and Siemens. The Shanghai World Financial Center was completed in the vivid city of Shanghai, in the spring of 2008. MHI’s TAD, which has been used in many buildings such as the Yokohama Landmark Tower in Japan, was also adopted for the skyscraper complex with 101 floors above ground level and a height of 492 meters, to reduce swaying and ensure living comfort. The system uses a motor to control the movement of the damper to reduce the swaying of the building. When sensors detect any swaying of the building due to strong winds, the movement of 150-ton counterweights suspended in the device can be calculated instantaneously by the computer system. One of the outstanding features of this active-turned type system is the multifold control of the performance to detect the degree of sway by moving the weight by the motor, more actively.
